Since 1989, S.O.S. President Andrea Taylor Flairty has lived for moments that make a client’s face light up.

“That’s when all the design work and all the craftsmanship and details the of installation become instantly worthwhile,” she explains. “I so enjoy the call the following morning after an install. The client can not believe that they actually have empty shelf space available after they have returned all their items back into their closet, pantry, garage or office. They make me feel like I have over delivered, but that is the actual goal all along.

“There were some who expected that I’d follow in the family footsteps and become a CPA, but I’ve never been the type who could sit behind a desk. I love being creative, being visual and designing organizing solutions that have permanent and very visible benefit for our clients.”

From the company’s second showroom in Bloomington-Normal and the original showroom and shop located in Champaign-Urbana, S.O.S. now serves hundreds of residential and commercial clients across Central Illinois.

Service areas are roughly clustered within a 50-60 mile radius around the metropolitan areas of Bloomington, Champaign and Peoria.
